67 West – Monsoon - (423) 768-3327
This is THE place to go for authentic Thai food and the best egg rolls you will ever eat. Just plan to eat them hot from the fryer - they don't reheat well!
Also the friendliest atmosphere you will ever find! The locals call 67 West, "Mel's Place" because Mel cooks each order while you wait. No fast food here - just wonderful spicy (or not so spicy) Thai food prepared with locally grown or freshly caught ingredients in season. Spicy chicken, sweet and sour pork, frog legs (sometimes), wonderful fried rice - once you discover Mel's, you'll come back again and again. Just 4 miles from the Iron Mountain Inn Bed & Breakfast.

It's where all the neighbors and local workers gather to catch up on the gossip. And the food is very good!
