Your wedding at the Iron Mountain Inn is a very special event.  When a wedding of over 10 guests is planned, we offer our special "planning weekend".  This is when the bride and groom will come to the Inn for a night to plan with the Innkeeper to make sure all the details are just as they want them so that the day of the wedding the couple can just relax and enjoy their friends and each other.  The cost for this weekend is then deducted from the final cost of the wedding.

 Just for Two:

• Choice of room for three days/two nights

• Breakfast each morning - we serve until 10:00 a.m.

• Bridal bouquet

• Wedding Cake

• Champagne or sparkling cider in two flutes to keep 

• Chocolate covered strawberries or fruit in season

• Pictures of the day on disc

• Music on CD - bring your own if you have music which is special for you
  

• Minister – choice of Baptist, County Clerk or non-denominational (on site). If you have someone you would like to perform the ceremony, we would be delighted to share your special day with him or her.

The above includes the innkeeper’s services where they are needed on the special day.

The total with tax for “the start of the rest of your life” day: $675.95.

The following information contains requirements for obtaining a marriage license for the Johnson County/Butler area. A license may be obtained at a County Court House in Tennessee.  You may also apply online by going to www.tncountyclerk.com and after logging on, click on Johnson County and supply the requested information.  You may also now pay by credit card, but you still have to pick up the certificate in person.

• Both participants must be 18 years of age

• Present a valid driver's license, or certified birth certificate

• Present a social security card if the number is not on driver's license

• If not a United States Citizen, you must present a valid passport

• If either of you have been divorced or widowed, you will need to know the exact date that the divorce was final, or date of death. If the bride has had a name change in her divorce and has not had her name changed on her driver's license, she will need to provide a certified copy of her divorce decree

• There is no blood test

• There is no waiting period

• License must be used within 30 days of issuance

• License can be used same day as applied for

• Fee for out of state couples is $98.50, If paying by cash, exact amount preferred.

• Fee for in state residents is $98.50 cash only and correct change is appreciated. The additional $60.00 fee will be waived if applicants complete a four-hour premarital preparation course and present a certificate of completion, which can be obtained through the County Clerks office.

• We are not able to send out applications for marriage license. Both participants must appear in person at the County Clerk's office.
